Today at the press center of the Publishing House "Komsomolskaya Pravda" held press conference about the new project of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatrre - concert "Time, Forward!". This concert is the tribute to the outstanding composer of the XX century - Georgy Sviridov.
Director-producer of the concert - the new chief director of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet theatre Neeme Kuningas (Estonia), which the theatre management presented during the press conference.
Neeme Kuningas is a well-known and popular on the world stage director. About twenty years he worked for the chief director of the Estonian National Opera. On account Kuningas more than 100 performances - operas, operettas and musicals, which are included in the repertoire of the leading theatres of Russia, China, France, Germany, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Hungary and Turkey.
The concert "Time, forward!”, which will be held on November 29 will be the first work of the director on the stage of Krasnoyarsk, in addition to plans Neeme Kuningas staging Caesar Cui's opera "Prisoner of the Caucasus", the premiere of which is scheduled for May 2017.
Also, the theatre management has sounded the personnel changes in the opera troupe - the new artistic director of the Opera became the People's Artist of Russia Larisa Marzoeva. She graduated from the vocal faculty of the Leningrad Conservatory named after Rimsky-Korsakov, and for nearly forty years, she is the leading soloist of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Larisa Marzoeva – the People's Artist of Russia. In 1978 he finished the Leningrad Conservatorynamed after Rimsky-Korsakov (class of N. Lee) and was immediately invited to work in the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre. Her repertoire includes more than 30 roles in operas by Russian and foreign composers. She has toured in Germany (Baden-Baden, Frankfurt, Cologne, Hamburg), Czechoslovakia (Prague, Bratislava), Italy (Rome, Florence), and Mongolia (Ulaanbaatar).
