For the first time on the 29th of November, on the stage of the Krasnoyarsk state opera and ballet theatre will host the concert «Time, forward!», devoted to the work of the outstanding composer of the XX century, people's artist of the USSR Georgy Sviridov, staged by renowned opera director Neeme Kuningas (Estonia).
Georgy Sviridov - the brightest page of Russian music and his vocal works - its real musical pinnacle! Today, his works not only outdated, but have become even greater, bigger. His music "speaks" in bright, native, clearly marked in Russian, which was the individual "handwriting" of the composer. According to the musician, who was lucky enough to work with G. Sviridov, his music as Russian song - everyone knows it, love, but no one knows who wrote it.
The concert program will include lyrical songs on poems by A. Pushkin, M. Lermontov, A. Blok, S. Yesenin, N. Nekrasov, performed by the leading soloists.
The real gift for the audience become more vocal and instrumental works by the symphony orchestra and chorus of the theatre, among them: the orchestral suite "Time, forward", excerpts from "Spring cantata", as well as musical illustrations for the novel A. Pushkin "Blizzard".
This evening, to the conductor's stand will step Dmitri Jurowski - the world-renowned maestro, the representative of the famous dynasty of the conductor.

From 1 January 2011 the maestro holds the post of chief conductor of the Royal Flemish Opera in Antwerp and Ghent. Since the season 2011/2012 - chief conductor of the symphony orchestra of Moscow "Russian Philharmonic".
Since September 2015 he is the music director and principal conductor of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.
