New elements are added to the Orchestra Formula concerts

The next concert of the Orchestra Formula cycle will take place on December 18; the Renaissance and Baroque works will not be performed as usual: this time, the soloists of the orchestra of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will introduce a spectacular and heterogeneous music mosaic to the audience.

The concert programme includes works by Viennese classics, German romantics, French impressionists, Russian, Soviet, and American composers. And some blues! “Such a variety will help to fully represent the creative possibilities of the artists of the Krasnoyarsk Opera House Orchestra who can masterfully perform the music of different authors, eras, and styles,” claims Ivan Velikanov, the creator of the project.

For the first time, clarinet soloist Sofia Grishina will appear on the lobby podium where the cycle of chamber concerts Orchestra Formula takes place. Sofia is a graduate of the Maimonides State Classical Academy. She has performed in the Vladimir Spivakov National Philharmonic Orchestra, the Youth Symphony Orchestra of St.Petersburg, the E. F. Svetlanov State Academic Symphony Orchestra. Sofia Grishina will take part in the Franz Schubert's song Der Hirt auf dem Felsen along with Anna Avakian (soprano) and Eugenia Solunskaya (piano), as well as Fantasiestücke by Robert Schumann (piano - Ivan Velikanov).

Pavel Studennikov (flute) and Alekseш Ivanenko (cello) are already well known to the audience of the Orchestra Formula concerts as their regular participants. They both are graduates of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory.

Pavel is a Grand Prix winner of the Diffwinds International Festival for Winds (Luxembourg), a laureate of the 2nd International Competition Festival Contemporary Art and Education (Moscow). He is not only a brilliant soloist but also a master of an ensemble; he played the flute in the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Volga Region, the Studio for New Music of the Moscow Conservatory, the chamber orchestra of the Pavel Slobodkin Centre, the Syrinx flute quartet, the Ivan Velikanov chamber orchestra Tarusa, the orchestra of the Moscow State Academic Philharmonic; he performed at the best music venues of Russia, Europe, and Asia. At the concert on December 18, Pavel will perform a solo (Syrinx by Claude Debussy), a duet with Eugenia Solunskaya (Olga for alto flute and piano by Yuri Povolotsky), and a flute quartet (Ski-Symphonie pour 4 Fûtes Partition et 4 Parties by Faustin Jeanjean) along with Natalia Zimaltynova, Elena Sidorova, and Alexei Chervov.

Alexey Ivanenko has worked in the Moscow Regional Philharmonic Society and various Moscow music and drama theatres, collaborated with authentic baroque music bands - the Academy of Early Music, Bachsonsort, Tarusa Chamber Orchestra, Madrigal. Alexey is one of the leading cello performers of baroque music in Russia. He will take part in the performance of the duet by Ludwig van Beethoven (along with Dmitri Kosolapov - violin), Felix Mendelssohn's trio (Alisa Harmats - violin, Eugeniya Solunskaya - piano), and Alexander Glazunov's string quartet Slavyansky (Dmitri Kosolapov and Tatiana Lavrentieva - violins, Alexander Yakim - viola).

In the 44th theatrical season (2021), Sofia Grishina, Pavel Studennikov, Alexei Ivanenko joined the orchestra of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre.
