Opening of the VIII International Festival "Parade of stars at the Opera"

On January 26 at 19:00 at the Krasnoyarsk state opera and ballet theatre starts the VIII International Festival "Parade of stars at the Opera", dedicated to the opera prima people's artist of the USSR Elena Obraztsova.

Elena ObraztsovaElena Obraztsova - outstanding Soviet and Russian singer, opera director, actress and teacher, owner of one of the best mezzo-sopranos in the world. She was called "the golden voice of the Bolshoi Theatre." Extraordinary temperament, vocal art and the amazing beauty of voice sound of the singer enthralled and fascinated audiences.

"Parade of Stars" will open the traditional gala concert with the participation of the guests of the festival. This evening, in a tribute to the great singer and on the eve of the festival "Elena", dedicated to Elena Vasilyevna, which will be held in April at St. Petersburg, on the stage there will be the soloists of the International Academy of Music of Elena Obraztsova (St. Petersburg), Elnara Mamedova, Maria Zaikina, Zhang Hanlin, Yefim Zavalny, Hamid Abdulov and daughter of Elena Obraztsova, director of the Academy - Elena Makarova, as well as the soloist of the Bolshoi theatre, honored artist of Russia Roman Muravitsky and soloists of the Krasnoyarsk opera and ballet theatre.

Their performance will feature excerpts from the opera "Un ballo in maschera " and "Il Trovatore" by George Verdi, "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" by G. Rossini, "The Magic Flute" by V.A. Mozart, "Tosca" and "Turandot" by G. Puccini, "Iolanta" and "The Queen of Spades" by Tchaikovsky, "Carmen" by Bizet and many others.

Behind the conductor's stand will be already known maestro of Krasnoyarsk - the artistic director of the St. Petersburg State theatre "Music Hall" Fabio Mastrangelo (Italy).

In addition, the soloists of the Academy of Music of Elena Obraztsova will be heard on 29 of January at the opera of Tchaikovsky "Iolanta".
