On March 26 on the stage of the Krasnoyarsk opera and ballet theatre "La Traviata". This opera of Giuseppe Verdi will become one of finales of the VIII International festival "Parade of Stars at the Opera".
The composer borrowed a plot for the work from Dumas Jr. novel "The lady with camellias". This tragic story of love attracts many years genuine interest of the audience, "La Traviata" is considered one of the most known and most popular performances in the world and it is called the opera of operas.
The production director Nadezhda Stolbova, the art director Vera Martynova (the winner of the award "Gold Mask" (2010) in the nomination "The Best Theatre Artist", the art director of "Gogol center") and the musical director and the conductor Dmitry Volosnikov (New Opera theatre, Moscow) worked on the Krasnoyarsk production.
The Krasnoyarsk "Traviata" has mass musical advantages. Sounding of orchestra and chorus (chorus master Dmitry Hodosh) distinguishes high professionalism, and interpretation of the Moscow maestro Dmitry Volosnikov really takes, excites – the conductor manages to aggravate sound contrasts, to highlight gentle piano and to make rigid and brutal forte, to achieve excellent sounding of ensembles and excellent balance between singers and orchestra.
