Living connection

At the International Day of theatre on March 27 at the museum of the artist Boris Ryauzov will open the unique exhibition of picturesque portraits of the theatre figures of Krasnoyarsk executed by artists of our city.

About 30 paintings among which there are portraits of soloists of the Krasnoyarsk opera and ballet theatre – the people's artist of Russia Vladimir Yefimov and the honored actress of Russia Vera Baranova are presented to expositions. And also soloists whose career began on the stage of our theatre – the famous ballet prima Natalya Chekhovskaya and one of the most famous opera singers of the present Dmitry Hvorostovsky.

The exhibition “Living connection” is an opportunity to adjoin to theatre history of Krasnoyarsk of the first half of the twentieth century in images of outstanding actors of the drama, such as Nikolay Prozorov, Alexander Sergeyev, Veniamin Neklyudov; to recollect the brightest page of theatre life of boundary the 1960kh-1970kh years connected in the Krasnoyarsk Theatre for Young Audience with names of directors Yury Mochalov, Nikolay Oporkov, actors Stanislav Ilyukhin, Zinaida Kovalskaya, Elvira Osipova, and at drama theatre – with the famous actors Valery Dyakonov, Vyacheslav Zhukovsky, Eduard Mikhnenkov; I have begun to pay tribute to improbable blossoming of culture and art 1980kh when have appeared opera and ballet theatre, symphonic orchestra and the start has been given to the movement "We Will Turn Siberia into the Region of High Culture!"

Work of the exhibition “Living connection” will last till April 23.
