"Polish Act" - tribute to the great singer Elena Obraztsova, we would like to show the public one of her roles. Marina Mnishek - became fatal for Elena Vasilyevna, because this role made her famous all over the world, - says the director Nadezhda Stolbova. - If the "Polish Act" was originally included in the opera, it surely would have become one of the passing portions. And we decided to make a separate performance and thereby tell the story of Marina Mniszek, show her character: and though she is only 16 years old, but she is obsessed with dreams of the Russian crown, wants to be a queen. In our performance, we will try to reveal her bright image, the audience to see how she can be different. "
Above the performance together with Nadezhda Stolbova works maestro Dmitri Volosnikov (Moscow Theatre "Novaya Opera"), choreographer - the leading soloist of the theatre Olesya Aldonina and lighting designer Sergei Skornetsky (Moscow). "Polish Act" will be presented in the scenery and costumes of the Bolshoi Theater (artists J. Cooper and P. Kaplevich), adapted for the stage of Krasnoyarsk. The introductory part will be a short film with fragments of an interview with Elena Obraztsova, in which the singer talks about her life as she was invited to sing to the Bolshoi Theatre, which she had a role and many other interesting moments in the life of opera prima.
