The tours of the Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theater at Switzerland and Belgium were held with great success, which took place within the framework of the international festival "Russian Cultural Seasons". Ballet numbers of the gala concert "Russian Souvenir" from our artists decorated the program of official events timed to the 300th anniversary of the first visit of Peter I to Europe. Performances at Switzerland and Belgium were the first in the history of our theatre.
Spectators in one evening could get acquainted with the scenes from the ballets of Peter Tchaikovsky "The Nutcracker", "Swan Lake", "Sleeping Beauty" and "Snow Maiden." And also saw the choreographic numbers for the works of Mikhail Glinka and Sergei Rachmaninov. Special gift for the public was the opportunity to enjoy a piece of Sergei Prokofiev's rare ballet "The Stone Flower" staged by Yuri Grigorovich.
