Sergei Prokofiev dedicated

At 2016 it is 125 years since the birth of one of the most important composers of the twentieth century, Sergei Prokofiev. This date is celebrated widely across the country and the Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre has not remained aloof from the celebration of the anniversary of the greatest musicians and artists.

Within the frame of the IV International Forum "Ballet XXI Century", which these days takes place at the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, opened with the exhibition dedicated to the great composer, "Sergei Prokofiev at France" at the State Scientific Library of the Krasnoyarsk territory and the "History of Sergei Prokofiev's performances" at the opera and ballet theatre.

The exposition at the library introduces period of Prokofiev's stay at France. This photo documents and pictures from the personal archive of the composer's family of funds of the State Theatre Museum named after. AA Bakhrushin, the St. Petersburg Museum of Theatre and Music, as well as books and albums from the library funds. The exhibition will be opened until 7 of December.

And at the lobby of the second floor of the theatre audience will be able to see the exhibition, which presents rare photos and posters of Sergei Prokofiev's ballet "The Stone Flower", "Romeo and Juliet" and "Cinderella" provided by the State Central Theatre Museum named after A. Bakhrushin. The exhibition will be opened until 10 of December.

Note, that the above ballets staged by the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre the audience will see during the IV International Forum "Ballet XXI Century".
