The Asia-Siberia-Europe music festival will open at the Hvorostovsky Opera and Ballet Theatre in September

On September 3, the 20th festival of chamber and orchestral music Asia - Siberia - Europe starts on the stage of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre. The Open-Gala will bring together the stars of the Bolshoi Theatre and Krasnoyarsk musicians. Special guests of the festival are soprano singer Anna Aglatova, wind quintet, and soloists of the main music theatre of Russia.

Anna Aglatova possesses a voice of extraordinary beauty and outstanding dramatic talent. Anna's repertoire includes operas of various composers from Handel to Puccini.

“Quite different heroines: this is the tragic Liu in Turandot, cunning beauty Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, and the serious Micaela in Carmen,” says Anna, “All of them are united by my love for them… for each of them. They are all real women! I try to recreate dissimilar characters on stage. However, I have to admit that they would not be mine without my own energy, they’d remain strangers to me, therefore, part of my expression, my own emotions are in each of my roles.

Arsenty Tkachenko will take the conductor’s stand. The maestro is the second conductor and Deputy Artistic Director of the Russian National Philharmonic Orchestra of Vladimir Spivakov. Since 2021, he has been a regular guest conductor of the Moscow Chamber Orchestra Virtuosy Moskvy (Virtuosos of Moscow).

The Open-Gala programme includes arias from operas by Mozart, Donizetti, Rossini, Massenet, Gounod, and instrumental fantasies for soloists and orchestra.
