The programme of the regional festival Theatrical Spring will feature two productions of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre - the ballet Le Corsaire by Adolphe Adam (on March 19 and 20) and opera Manon by Jules Massenet (on March 23). The tickets are already on sale.

In both productions, 15 nominees have been nominated for the award Crystal Mask in 11 categories:

1. Best Premiere of the Season in a Music Theatre (large scale production): Manon and Le Corsaire;

2. Best Conductor: Eldar Nagiyev (Le Corsaire), Felix Korobov (Manon);

3. Best Choreographer: Yuliana Malkhasyants (Le Corsaire);

4. Best Production Design in a Music Theatre: Maria Vysotskaya (Le Corsaire);

5. Best Lighting Design: Irina Vtornikova (Le Corsaire);

6. Best Costume Design: Natalia Zemalindinova (Le Corsaire);

7. Best Female Role in a Music Theatre: Anna Avakyan for the role of Manon in the opera Manon;

8. Best Male Role in a Music Theatre: Davit Yesayan for the role of the Chevalier des Grieux in the opera Manon;

9. Best Male Role in a Ballet Production: Georgy Bolsunovsky for the role of Birbanto in the ballet Le Corsaire and Matvey Nikishaev for the role of Conrad in the ballet Le Corsaire;

10. Best Female Role in a Ballet Production: Olesya Aldonina for the role of Gulnare in the ballet Le Corsaire and Anna Kudriavtseva for the role of Medora in the ballet Le Corsaire;

11. Best Supporting Male Role: Sevastian Martyniuk for the role of Lescaut in the opera Manon.

The winners of the Crystal mask awards will traditionally be announced on March 27, International Theatre Day.
