The troupe of the Krasnoyarsk state opera and ballet theatre will become one of the first ballet collectives which will appear on new stage of Dubai Opera.

The tour to the United Arab Emirates will take place from 13 to 20 of September. Our artists will present public two ballets – "Giselle" of Adolf Adam and "Coppeliya, or the “Girl with enamel eyes" of Leo Delibes.

"It is very pleasant that our work was highly appreciated so and invited to act on the new price, – the theatre director Svetlana Guzy says. – It is very prestigious and significant for us as we one of those for whom entrusted to open this international theatre concert venue".

We will note that Dubai opera is the most long-awaited project in the history of the UAE. The new stage opened on August 31, and as the first on it the Spanish tenor Placido Domingo acted. Dubai Opera – the first multi-purpose center of performing arts in the city. The concert hall accommodates 2 thousand people and can be transformed to the theatre stage. Besides the opera, ballet, concerts of classical music and jazz festivals, entertainments for all family, will pass rock concerts and performances of pop stars, theatre performances, film screenings and many other things here.

From the first multiformat theatre of the city opens the view of the tower of Burj Khalifa and the well-known dancing fountain. Outlines of the building of the opera remind an ancient schooner of preschool educational institution, symbolizing communication of Dubai with the sea, traditions of navigation and catching of pearls.

Already at the season of 2016 the set of global stars will appear on new stage – José Karreras's concert, performance of Maurice Béjart Ballet Lausanne, the ice performance "The Nutcracker on Ice" performed by the leading figure skaters of the world and "The snow show" of Slava Polunin are planned.
