The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre won third place in the inspection contest for the best organization of work and job safety in the field of the social partnership of 2021 in the nominated category Culture. This year, more than 160 institutions rivalled in this category.

When making a decision, the contest jury paid special attention to the timely payment of salaries and taxes, as well as fees to the treasuries at all levels and non-budgetary funds.

In an opera and ballet theatre, the risks related to job safety are especially serious: during the strenuous exercises, it is objectively impossible for ballet dancers to completely avoid professional injuries. Nonetheless, the Hvorostovsky Theatre became one of the most socially responsible cultural institutions in the city of Krasnoyarsk.

By the way, this is not the first time the Theatre administration adequately bears its social responsibility. At the end of 2020, the Theatre also was the third in the contest; at the end of 2018, it took first place.
