On the eve of the 40th creative season, the Krasnoyarsk opera and ballet theatre hosted a traditional troupe gathering.

On this day in the auditorium gathered several generations of artists - from the newcomers who have just joined the troupe of our theatre, who still have to go to the "big stage", to the veterans who opened the first creative season of Opera at the distant 1978. They were given memorable souvenirs from the theatre, and young soloists prepared for them a soulful creative number.

Friends and partners of the theatre came to congratulate the anniversary season, who marked the memorable gifts for the artists who most clearly showed themselves during the 39th season. First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Natalia Gelrud and head of the City Department of Culture Natalia Malashchuk presented letters of appreciation and certificates.

By tradition, theatre director Svetlana Guziy voiced plans for the upcoming season. This year audience can expect several premiers : operas "Il Trovatore" by G. Verdi, "Eugene Onegin" by P. Tchaikovsky, "Raphael" by A. Areenensky and Mozart's " Le nozze di Figaro", will hold benefit performances of the choir and orchestra. At the second half of the season will be the annual international festival "Parade of Stars in the Opera", this time, like the whole upcoming theatre season, will be dedicated to the Russian opera. Several tours of the opera troupe are planned. So, at November the theatre will take part at the Second All-Russian Festival of Musical Theatres "To see the Music", which will be held at Moscow from September 27 to November 3, 2017, where the opera "The Prisoner of the Caucasus" will be shown, and at April the opera company will tour to Astrakhan.

Recall, the anniversary 40th creative season, the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will open on September 12 with grand gala concert. And one of the first performances that the audience will see will be the brightest premieres of last season: September 13 and 14 - the opera "The Prisoner of the Caucasus", September 22 - comic opera “The Daughter of the Regiment” and September 24 – “The Bayadere” ballet.
