Vladimir Efimov received an honorary award for his contribution to the development of the Krasnoyarsk Region

The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre’s principal soloist, People’s Artist of Russia Vladimir Efimov was awarded the badge of honour The 85th Anniversary of the Krasnoyarsk Region. At the region hall, Governor Alexander Uss handed out awards to 60 residents of the Region.

The head of the Region thanked the participants for their contribution to the development of the Krasnoyarsk Krai and noted that it was thanks to their work that the region had made major gains before celebrating its 85th anniversary.

“In this room, there are people with whom we have been creating the Region’s recent history shoulder to shoulder for many years. I sincerely am grateful to all of you for having been together all these years. I want to express my gratitude as the governor on behalf of all Krasnoyarsk residents for the great contribution you made to the achievements of the Region we are proud of. I am sure that many achievements are yet to come”, said Alexander Uss.

The contribution of Vladimir Efimov to the culture of the Krasnoyarsk Krai and Russia is impossible to overemphasize. He has been performing at the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre for 40 years. He sang several dozens of leading parts, participated in tours in the country and abroad, gave more than three hundred solo concerts, performed on the federal television and at government concerts at the Kremlin Palace, the Bolshoi Theatre, and the Russia Concert Hall.

Besides, Vladimir Viktorovich has longstanding professional experience. For many years, he’s been the head of the department of solo singing and opera training at the Krasnoyarsk Academy of Music and Theatre; since 2008, he has been a professor. He is also a member of the Vocal Art Council at the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
