Principal singer of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Yekaterina Kochetova will perform in the mystic show based on the Dargomyzhsky’s Rusalka opera for the first time.

“I will debut as Natasha in our theatre; and this part seems to be created just for my voice - a strong soprano. I was very happy to work on this role: the music of Dargomyzhsky is magnificent, and that’s the chance to prove myself not only as a vocalist but also as a dramatic actress. Besides, the Rusalka of the Krasnoyarsk Opera House is a modern immersive performance that gives an opportunity for self-development: an artist learns to interact with the audience and partners in a new way while performing”, - commented Yekaterina Kochetova, winner of international competitions.

The mystical show Rusalka (Mermaid) directed by Maria Tikhonova will be performed on the stage of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre on June 6.
