Aliona Babivskaya
Born on August 22
Born on Ust-Ilimsk (the Irkutsk Region). In 2009, she graduated from the Chopin Irkutsk College of Music with honours (class E. A. Zhukova). In 2014, she graduated from the Krasnoyarsk Academy of Music and Theatre with honours, the Solo Singing and Opera Training Department (class of Honoured Artist of Russia N. N. Sokolova).
At the final state exams, she performed the scene of Tatyana’s letter from Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin on the stage of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.
Aliona took part in master classes of the Italian singer Gabriella Sborgi (2011), Honoured Artist of Russia, Professor of the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg Conservatory Tamara Novichenko (2014). In 2022, she took part in master classes held by Ildar Abdrazakov, Sergei Leiferkus, and Olga Kapanina.
From 2015 to 2017, she taught vocal at the Mikhail Gorky Krasnoyarsk Teachers Training College #1.
Since September 2017, Aliona has been a principal singer of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.
During the tour of the Theatre at the Bolshoi Theatre in 2022, she sang the role of Ellen (Lakme).
She took part in the Sibirskaya Kamerata Theatre project for opera soloists and the chamber concerts cycle of this project Meetings at the Piano (2023).
