Congratulatory letters and telegrams have been received from leading figures of the Russian music world: Valery Gergiev, Chief Executive of the Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theatres and People’s Artist of Russia; Felix Korobov, Principal Conductor of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre and People’s Artist of Russia; Alexander Tchaikovsky, composer, Artistic Director of the Moscow Philharmonic Society and People’s Artist of Russia; and Mikhail Tatarnikov, Music Director and Principal Conductor of the NOVAT (Novosibirsk Opera House).

Eldar Nagiyev graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory, the Universities of Graz and Vienna (Austria), and the Glinka Novosibirsk State Conservatory, where he studied violin and orchestral conducting. Since 2016, he has served as Principal Conductor and Artistic Director of the Yankovsky Novosibirsk Youth Symphony Orchestra. In 2017, he became an assistant conductor at the NOVAT, and since 2022, he has been a conductor of that theatre. He joined the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre as a conductor in August 2023, and in October 2025 was appointed its Principal Conductor.
