Soloist of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Anna Kiseliova was invited to perform in a series of concerts: one of them will be dedicated to the memory of the outstanding singer of the 20th century Ivan Kozlovsky who died 30 years ago; another one will be dedicated to the 90th birthday of the soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre, People's Artist of the USSR Bela Rudenko.
The events will take place in Moscow on December 19 and 21. They’re part of a series of educational programmes dedicated to the creative heritage of the outstanding figures of music culture.
Anna Kiseliova will present a programme consisting of famous opera fragments (arias of Tosca and Lauretta from Giacomo Puccini’s operas Tosca and Gianni Schicchi, Barcarolles from Jacques Offenbach’s opera Les Contes d'Hoffmann - a duet with Elena Makarova), romance songs by Mikhail Glinka, Alexander Dargomyzhsky , Nikolai Zubov, Sergei Rachmaninov, as well as Spanish Bolero by Vincenzo di Chiara. She’ll also perform Bulat Okudzhava’s song Prayer. Piano part will be performed by the accompanist of Elena Obraztsova’s Academy of Music, Honoured Figure of Culture of the Russian Federation Lyudmila Zorina (St. Petersburg).
In Krasnoyarsk, Anna Kiseliova will perform on January 4, 2024: the singer will take the stage of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre as Kupava in Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s opera The Snow Maiden.
