Events dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will take place on December 20. For spectators who have purchased tickets to Alexander Borodin's opera Prince Igor, it makes sense to come to the Theatre an hour before the show starts.
The Theatre will look festive these days: it is decorated not only for the New Year but also on the occasion of the anniversary. In the foyer, guests can take spectacular photos in the photo zone with human-sized numbers 4 and 5. An ensemble of the orchestra musicians of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will perform in the music lounge room. This event will be educational for the spectators: they’ll be able to watch a film about the history of the Theatre; at 6.30 p.m., a meet-the-artist session will begin: the audience will have the chance to talk to people who have left a visible mark on the Theatre. Please note that the session will be broadcast in the VKontakte group, and the recording will be saved and uploaded there.
After the performance of Prince Igor, there will be an honouring of the employees who have worked at the Theatre from the very first day and actually created it from scratch.
