"Art for the sake of life" - under this name starts today, 19 January, charity marathon to raise funds for people affected by cancer.

This is joint project of the Krasnoyarsk state opera and ballet theatre, Regional public charity organization of the Krasnoyarsk territory "Boomerang of good" and the Krasnoyarsk clinic oncology dispensary named after A.I. Kryzhanovsky. The marathon will be held at the frame of the VIII International Festival "Parade of stars at Opera", dedicated to the great friend of the theatre, people's artist of the USSR Elena Obraztsova. The singer died on the 76^th year of life from a serious illness - cancer of blood. In her memory, all means obtained during the marathon will be transferred to cancer patients.
