"Parade of stars at the Opera": the premieres, the return of the opera "Il Trovatore" and the guests of the festival

Very little time is left before the VIII International Festival "Parade of stars at the Opera" will start.  This year it will be dedicated to the incomparable opera diva, people's artist of the USSR Elena Obraztsova.

From  January 26 to March 31 on the stage of the Krasnoyarsk state opera and ballet theatre will perform some of the best opera singers and conductors from Russia, Italy, Slovakia, Bulgaria and China.

The repertoire of "Parade of Stars" is selected in such way that the audience will hear the most famous masterpieces of the world opera classic. The festival opens on the 26th of January with the gala concert, in which will take part soloists of the International Academy of Music of Elena Obraztsova (St. Petersburg): Julia Lozhevsky, Elnara Mamedova, Maria Zaikina, Alyona Guz,  Zhang Hanlin, Yefim Zavalny Gleb Peryazev, Gamid Abdulov. Behind the conductor's stand at the evening will be  already well-known maestro at Krasnoyarsk artistic director of the St. Petersburg State theatre "Music Hall" Fabio Mastrangelo (Italy). Soloists of Academy will be heard on January 29 at the opera Tchaikovsky "Iolanta".

The 2nd and 3rd of February the audience will see the premiere - "Marina Mniszek. Bow to Elena Obraztsova. Boris Godunov. Polish act" from Mussorgsky's opera" Boris Godunov "(in edition of Rimsky-Korsakov), which was not included at the Krasnoyarsk statement. In the role of Marina Mniszek on stage these days will  come soloists of the Krasnoyarsk opera and ballet theatre Olga Basova and Daria Ryabinko, party of Pretender will perform soloist of the Bolshoi theatre, honored artist of Russia Roman Muravitsky. Conductor - Dmitry Volosnikov (theatre "Novaya Opera", Moscow).

On the 18th of February another opera by Peter Tchaikovsky - "The Queen of Spades" will be presented. It will be attended by soloists of the Bolshoi theatre, people's artists of Russia Oleg Kulko (German) and Tatiana Erastova (Countess), soloist of the Samara state opera and ballet theatre Irina Krikunova (Lisa). Manage the orchestra will be the chief conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra of Belarus, people's artist of Belarus Alexander Anisimov.

On the 4th of March at the theatre opera there will be the G. Verdi's "Aida". The main roles will be performed by guests of the festival guest soloist with the Royal Flemish Opera of Antwerp and Ghent Lubov Stuchevskaya (Aida) and soloist of the Buryat opera and ballet theater, honored artist of the Republic of Buryatia Bairzhab Dambiev (Radames). Conductor is Dmitri Jurowski (Belgium).

On the 19th of March the public will have one more gift - opera Verdi "Il Trovatore" in concert performance. This statement viewers have not seen for over 20 years, and then it returns to the stage of the theatre. Behind the conductor's stand honored artist of Russia Anatoly Chepurnoy, party of Manrico performs the soloist of the Buryat opera and ballet theatre Mikhail Pirogov.

March 22 - opera of Puccini «Tosca», which will be attended by the soloists of the State opera of Varna (Bulgaria), Boris Lukov (Cavaradossi) and Dimitrinka Raicheva (Tosca). Conductor - Borislav Ivanov.

March 26 - the opera G. Verdi's «La Traviata». The main roles performed by the soloists of the Krasnoyarsk opera and ballet, the conductor's podium - Dmitry Volosnikov (theatre "Novaya Opera", Moscow).

March 29 - Alexander Borodin's opera "Prince Igor". In Konchak party is soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre, people's artist of Bashkortostan Askar Abdrazakov (St. Petersburg), Yaroslavna - soloist of theatre "Novaya Opera" Irina Moreva (Moscow). Conductor - Honored Artist of Russia Anatoly Chepurnoy.

The festival will end on the 31st of March with the gala concert with the participation of the soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre, people's artist of the USSR Makvala Kasrashvili and soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre Askar Abdrazakov. The orchestra maestro Peter Feranec will conduct (Slovakia).

But this is not all the activities that are included the program of the VIII International Festival "Parade of stars at the Opera". On February 19 the public can see the film "Cavalleria Rusticana," directed by Franco Zeffirelli with Elena Obraztsova, Placido Domingo, Renato Bruzon, Fedora Barbieri, Aksellem Gall. The show will be held at the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.

In addition, within the frame of "Parade" with the support of Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation from 27 to 29 January creative laboratory of young vocalists «Siberian solo» will be held. The participants will be promising young vocalists - soloists and senior students of music schools of Krasnoyarsk.
