Alisa will also debut as the Nanny. Valeria Ermakova will perform a Maid of Honour for the first time.
There are also debutants in the main New Year's performance - Pyotr Tchaikovsky's ballet The Nutcracker. The leading roles of Marie and the Prince will be performed by the young artists who recently joined the Theatre’s ballet company: Anastasia Svetlishina (on December 30, 12:00) and Ruslan Abolmasov (on December 29, 12:00). For the first time, the experienced dancer Daniil Kostylev will appear on stage in the role of Drosselmeyer (on December 28, 12:00).
This season, seventeen shows of The Nutcracker are scheduled to be performed at the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre for the New Year and Christmas holidays in December and January. Tickets for many performances have already been sold out (but not for all of them!). The work on the casts of the shows is in full swing. They should feature more than two dozen debuts in various roles. The information about debutants will be uploaded on the Theatre's website and social networks.
