Davit Yesayan will sing in La Traviata, Manon, The Oprichnik, and autumn concerts

Principal singer of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Davit Yesayan will take part in several events included in the repertoire of the first months of the 47th season.

The singer will perform the leading roles in three shows. They are the landmark premiere of the previous season - Jules Massenet's opera Manon (the part of the Chevalier des Grieux - on September 28), the popular opera La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi (the part of the leading character's beloved Alfredo - on October 6), and in Pyotr Tchaikovsky's opera The Oprichnik (the title role - the young oprichnik Andrei Morozov).

Davit Yesayan will also perform in three big concerts on the stage of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.

The first one is the opera and ballet gala concert dedicated to the opening of the 47th season on September 21.

The second one is the anniversary gala night of People's Artist of Russia Vladimir Efimov on September 25. Davit Yesayan will take the stage as Mario Cavaradossi along with Vladimir Efimov (the villain Baron Scarpia) and Anna Kiseliova (Tosca) in the first part of the concert - they’ll perform the second act of Giacomo Puccini's opera Tosca. Davit will also sing in the second part of the concert along with soloists of the Krasnoyarsk Opera House.

Also, Davit Yesayan will take part in the concert of soloists of three theatres along with guests from the Bolshoi and Mariinsky theatres in one of the events of the Hvorostovsky Arts Festival. The concert will be held at the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre on October 30.
