Music Director and Chief Conductor of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Dmitri Yurovsky is going to perform at the Grand Hall of the Moscow Philharmonic Society - Tchaikovsky Concert Hall. The maestro will conduct the Svetlanov State Academic Symphony Orchestra.
The concert will be held on September 6 – Eugeny Fyodorovich Svetlanov’s birthday. The programme will feature Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in B-flat minor (soloist Nikolai Lugansky) and Richard Strauss’s Symphonic Poem Also Sprach Zarathustra.
Dmitri Jurowski will as well take part in several events on the Krasnoyarsk stage in September. As Music Director and conductor, he’ll take part in the opening of the 47th season (the concert performance of Vincenzo Bellini's opera Norma on September 19 and the opera and ballet gala concert on September 21) and the anniversary concert of People's Artist of Russia Vladimir Efimov on September 25.
