In the final month of the 45th creative season, the artists of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will present new debut performances to the audience.
The show of Alexander Glazunov's ballet Raymonda on June 4 will be especially significant for Matvey Nikishaev: he will appear on the stage of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre in the leading male role - the noble knight Jean de Brienne - for the first time. Olesya Aldonina (on June 4) will make her debut as Raymonda's friend, Yuri Romanchuk (on June 3) in the Four Cavaliers Variations, and Alexei Glyzin, a student of the Krasnoyarsk Choreography College, as a knight (on June 3). There will also be debut performances in the ball scene: Anna Salenkova (on June 3), Anastasia Nigmatulina (on June 4), and Rodion Zinyak in the Saracen dance, Ksenia Lyapina (on June 3) and Anna Ryabenko (on June 4) in the Spanish dance.
In the ballet Anyuta to the music by Valery Gavrilin, Marcello Pelizzoni will for the first time, on June 11, perform the role of Artynov, the rich admirer of the protagonist. Besides, Anna Salenkova (as a student), Anastasia Nigmatulina (as a gypsy), Oleg Ronsky (as a count and monk) will make their debuts in this production.
Only one debut performance in an opera production will take place in June 2023: the title role in one of the most popular works by Pyotr Tchaikovsky - Eugene Onegin. On June 7, this iconic part will be performed for the first time by the soloist of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Denis Grechishkin.
