Krasnoyarsk soloists to take part in the Dmitri Hvorostovsky Festival

Principal singers of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre take part in concerts of the largest cultural event of the region - the Dmitri Hvorostovsky Festival that started on October 8.

As part of the Festival, the concert dedicated to the outstanding Russian singer Dmitri Hvorostovsky will be held on the stage of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre on October 18. Soloists of the Krasnoyarsk opera company Anna Avakyan, Violetta Grishko, Daria Ryabinko, Denis Grechishkin, and Sergey Samusev will take the stage at it. On October 20, the Dmitri Hvorostovsky Festival will present a gala concert of opera soloists from Moscow and large regional theatres of Russia (including Krasnoyarsk singers Anna Avakyan, Daria Ryabinko, Davit Esayan, and Mikhail Pirogov).

On October 15, soloist of the Krasnoyarsk Opera Sevastian Martyniuk will sing at the concert Masterpieces of the Chamber Repertoire of Dmitri Hvorostovsky along with the guest of the Festival Yulia Gertseva and accompanied by Christian Koch.

Directly on the birthday of Dmitri Hvorostovsky - October 16 - a Gala Night dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the artist will take place. The concert will feature excerpts from the works by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. Opera stars Elena Guseva (soprano), Yulia Gertseva (mezzo-soprano), Rauf Timergazin (baritone), as well as Daria Ryabinko, Mikhail Pirogov, Denis Grechishkin will come to the Philharmonic stage.

The Dmitri Hvorostovsky Festival opened on October 8 with a concert of the world opera star Ildar Abrazakov accompanied by soloists of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Anna Avakyan and Sevastian Martyniuk.
