Conductor of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Mikhail Leontiev will perform in Novosibirsk along with one of the most famous and brilliant young pianists of Russia - twenty-year-old Ivan Bessonov.
Mikhail Leontiev will take the conductor’s stand of the Novosibirsk Academic Symphony Orchestra twice: on February 16, he’ll perform at the concert hall of the Novosibirsk House of Scientists, on February 17 - at the Katz State Concert Hall.
The programmes of two concerts will include the Overture of the opera Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg by Richard Wagner, Piano Concerto No. 1 by Ferenc Liszt (piano soloist will be the winner of the Sergei Rachmaninov International Pianists, Composers, and Conductors Competition 2022 Ivan Bessonov), Concerto for orchestra by Bela Bartok.
At the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, maestro Mikhail Leontiev will take the stage in a series of three shows of Herman Løvenskiold’s ballet La Sylphide on February 9 and 10, and the gala concert Parade of Tenors that will be held within the festival Stars Parade at the Opera.
