New artists joined the Theatre’s team

New employees joined the companies and orchestra of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre at the very beginning of its 45th season.

The audience has already got acquainted with the graduate of the Dmitri Hvorostovsky Siberian Institute of Arts Victoria Maslyukova: at the end of the previous season, she made her debut on the stage of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre as Martha in Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's opera The Tsar's Bride and took part in a joint educational project set up along with the Institute of Arts - a production of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's opera Le Nozze di Figaro. The premiere took place at our Theatre in June; Victoria performed the role of Countess Rosina. Now Victoria Maslyukova is a soloist of the opera company of the Krasnoyarsk Theatre.

Another new opera soloist is tenor Artiom Golubev, a graduate of the Faculty of Vocal of the F. M. Dostoevsky Omsk University. For the first time, guests of the Krasnoyarsk Theatre met the artist at the gala concert opening the 45th season: Artiom performed a true opera hit there - Prince Calaf's aria from Giacomo Puccini's Turandot.

Seven young dancers joined the ballet company: Alina Zyabkina, Lilia Petrakovskaya, Olga Peshkova, Sofia Rybina, Vasilina Skurikhina, Denis Abrosimov, Artiom Soloshchenko. All of them are graduates of the Krasnoyarsk Choreography College in 2022. It should be noted that Alina, Olga, Lilia, and Sofya successfully performed in the new season of the popular dance show Big and Small of the Kultura TV channel. They presented an excerpt from the ballet The Little Humpbacked Horse composed by Caesar Pugni to the experts. Olga Peshkova even took part in crowd scenes of the Pugni's ballet Catarina ou la Fille du Bandit presented on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia as part of the Hvorostovsky Theatre's tour in Moscow.

Three new artists of the choir are Aliona Malovitskaya (counter-tenor), Aldar Dampilov (baritone), Pyotr Kuzenkov (baritone), and four new musicians of the orchestra are Daria Kaisina (clarinet), Kira Lagozinskaya (harp), Sergei Syrokhvatov (trombone), Andrey Kholomkin (bassoon).
