The international festival "Parade of Stars at the Opera" continues. On February 28 on the scene of the Krasnoyarsk state opera and ballet theatre one of the brightest opera masterpieces, work which is sign for the Russian culture – the opera "Boris Godunov" of Modest Mussorgsky on the tragedy of the same name of Pushkin.

Guests of the festival participate at the performance: soloists of the Moscow theatre "New Opera" of E.V. Kolobov – Vitaly Efanov (Boris Godunov) and the honored artist of Russia Vladimir Kudashev (Pimen), and also the soloist of the Perm academic opera and ballet theatre Vladimir Taysayev (Varlaam).

The young production director Nadezhda Stolbova has put the first original edition of the opera of Mussorgsky in  tandem with the conductor of New Opera theatre Dmitry Volosnikov who will get up for the conductor's stand on February 28 on the Krasnoyarsk stage.

Directors of the performance have addressed the authentic text of the opera restored according to draft manuscripts of Mussorgsky. In the first edition of this work in the center personal tragedy of the tsar Boris. The desired throne received by the price of others blood doesn't bring Godunova of happiness. The new tsar face to face faces the past and sense of guilt…

Throughout all performance the real bells which have cast on the only thing in Russia foundry in Tutaev sound. A sound number of bells is made especially for Krasnoyarsk statement of the opera "Boris Godunov", and each bell has the note according to Mussorgsky's score.
