Sevastian Martyniuk and Davit Yesayan to give solo concerts in Krasnoyarsk

Soloists of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will present their solo concerts to the public at cultural venues of the city.

On February 15, baritone singer Sevastian Martyniuk will perform the concert Bel Canto in the small hall of the Krasnoyarsk Philharmonic Society; he’ll be accompanied by the Krasnoyarsk Chamber Orchestra conducted by Honoured Artist of Russia Mikhail Benyumov. The programme will feature arias from operas and oratorios by Antonio Vivaldi, Antonio Caldara, George Frideric Handel, Christoph Willibald Gluck. Sevastian will perform duets from operas by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart along with Yekaterina Begunovich who is a 4th year student of the Faculty of Solo Singing and Opera Training at the Hvorostovsky Siberian Institute of Arts (class of Honoured Artist of Russia Vera Baranova).

The concert of tenor singer Davit Yesayan will take place in the large hall of the State Institute of Arts on March 3; it’s dedicated to the upcoming women's holiday and is named Besame Mucho. In addition to this song by Consuelo Velazquez, one of the world hits of the 20th century, the programme includes popular Italian and Latin American songs. They’ll be accompanied by the orchestra conducted by Nikolai Balyshev, a conductor of the Krasnoyarsk Musical Theatre; Davit Yesayan’s long-time accompanist Victoria Goikhman will play the piano. The special guest of the festive concert is the remarkable Krasnoyarsk vocalist, participant of the First Channel show The Voice Nadezhda Samkova.

Davit Yesayan and Sevastian Martyniuk will take the home stage of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre at the concert Parade of Tenors on February 21. Sevastian will also sing in the operas The Queen of Spades by Pyotr Tchaikovsky (on February 29, his debut as Prince Yeletsky), Lakmé by Leo Delibes (on March 13, as Frederic), Without a Dowry by Daniil Frenkel (March 20, as Paratov), and at the concert Maestro Invites (on March 9).
