Soloists of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre are going to take part in large-scale concerts in the regions of Russia along with stars of  Moscow theatres.

Thus, the soloist of the Krasnoyarsk opera company Alexandra Cherpakova will take part in the concert Native Land Birds, which will, on September 5, open the new season of the Khakass Republican Philharmonic Hall. Young soloists of Russian opera theatres, laureates of Russian and international competitions will participate in it. All of them began their careers at the Music College of Khakassia.

Among them, there will be Alexander Shakhov, soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theatre of St. Petersburg. Along with Alexandra Cherpakova, he will perform the duet between Don Giovanni and Zerlina from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's opera Don Giovanni. Besides, Alexandra will sing Lyudmila's cavatina from Ruslan and Lyudmila by Mikhail Glinka, Cunegonde's aria from Candide by Leonard Bernstein. The ex-soloist of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Sergei Telenkov (he now works in Nizhny Novgorod) will also take part in this concert.

On August 17, Bato Tushinov, principal dancer of the ballet company of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, performed the piece Ascenting Fujiyama (choreographed by Morihiro Iwata to Japanese folk music) at the concert Ballet on Baikal. Buryatia, The soloists of the Bolshoi Theatre Margarita Shrainer and Alexei Putintsev, stars of Buryatian and Mongolian ballet art, took part in it.

We’d like to add that the opening of the 47th season of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will take place quite soon (on September 19: concert performance of Bellini’s opera Norma with the participation of Albina Shagimuratova; on September 21: the opera and ballet gala concert), and your favourite artists will take their native Krasnoyarsk stage.
