Principal dancers of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will present several debut performances to the audience.
On May 18, young dancers Yelena Svinko and Marcello Pelizzoni will take the stage as Giselle and Albrecht in the fantastic ballet Giselle by Adolph Adam.
Yelena graduated from the Krasnoyarsk Choreographic College in 2016, then joined the company of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre. She is a winner of several international competitions, including the International Ballet Competition in Varna (Bulgaria, 2016). In 2018, she participated in the “Big Ballet” project on the Kultura TV channel. Italian-born Marcello Pelizzoni is a graduate of the Moscow Academy of Choreography in 2018.
On May 22, Honoured Artist of Russia Maria Kuimova-Litvinenko will, for the first time, perform the title role in the Alexander Glazunov's ballet Raymonda - the dazzling premiere of the 41st season.
Maria has been a primal dancer of our theatre’s ballet company since 2002. Since then, the artist has appeared on the stage in the most popular repertoire’s performances: the ballets Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty by Tchaikovsky, Don Quixote and La Bayadère by Minkus, Giselle by Adam, Romeo and Juliet, Cinderella, The Tale of the Stone Flower by Prokofiev, and many others.
