Within the festival Stars Parade at the Opera. Slovtsov, the gala concert Tenor Parade will be held at the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre on February 23. Opera stars from Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Russia will participate.
In the parade of high male voices, 11 tenors will take the Krasnoyarsk stage. Among them are seven soloists of the Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre (Nikita Gusmanov, Davit Esayan, Valentin Kolesnikov, Andrey Kolobov, Kirill Pankevich, Boris Sabirov, and Honoured Artist of Buryatia Mergen Sandanov), as well as soloist Valery Makarov from the Bolshoi Theatre and invited artists from foreign theatres.
Moscow tenor singer Valery Makarov and Uzbek guest Abboshon Rahmatullayev will perform in Krasnoyarsk for the first time. However, two other artists are already known to the Krasnoyarsk audience. Tserenchunt Ulziyburen from the Mongolian Opera and Ballet Theatre in Ulaanbaatar performed the role of Lensky in Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s opera Eugene Onegin and took part in concerts Voice of Asia (along with the Krasnoyarsk baritone singer Alexander Mikhaliov) and Tenor Parade 2024. Last year's festival Stars Parade at the Opera also featured Nurgalym Amanbay from Kazakhstan.
At Tenor Parade 2025, excerpts from operas by Mozart, Bizet, Rimsky-Korsakov, Borodin, Donizetti, Puccini, Verdi, and Léhar will be performed. Among these are such hits as the Aria of Cavaradossi and Duke's Song from Puccini's Tosca and Verdi's Rigoletto respectively, the Arioso of Canio from Leoncavallo's Pagliacci and the Cavatina of Berendey from Rimsky-Korsakov's The Snow Maiden, and others.
The concert programme also includes duets from operas: the participants of the festival will perform them along with soloists of Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre – soprano singers Anna Avakyan, Violetta Grishko, Viktoria Masliukova, Aliona Babivskaya, Zoya Rzheplianskaya, mezzo-soprano Darya Ryabinko, and baritones Denis Grechishkin and Sevastian Martyniuk.
