Spectators of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre may start planning their summer cultural entertainment: tickets for June performances are already on sale.

The first event of the final month of the 45th season will be Alexey Rybnikov's musical fairy tale The New Adventures of Pinocchio: it’ll be performed on June 1. On June 3 and 4, a children's ballet The Seasons with the participation of students from the Krasnoyarsk Choreography College will be shown: it comprises the music by Alexander Glazunov. The same dates in the night, a masterpiece of world ballet classics to the music of the same Russian composer - Raymonda - will be presented on the stage of the Theatre. In the afternoon on June 3, a chamber concert of the cycle Meetings at the Piano dedicated to the romance art songs by Sergei Rachmaninoff will again take place in the foyer of the second floor.

The June theatre bill of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet House includes other productions loved by Krasnoyarsk residents: the music fairy tale Town Musicians of Bremen (June 13), the ballet Anyuta by Valery Gavrilin (June 10, 11) and two operas - Eugene Onegin by Pyotr Tchaikovsky (June 7) and L’Elisir d’Amore by Gaetano Donizetti (June 14). On Sunday morning, June 8, there will be a children's show Golden Princess based on the music of the ABBA band. And next weekend, June 17 and 18, the soloists and the chief conductor of the Theatre, Honoured Artist of Russia Anatoly Chepurnoy invite the audience to the concert Charming Summer Melodies of the cycle The Maestro Invites.

Towards the end of the season, there will only be surprises.

The theatre UralOperaBallet from Yekaterinburg will visit Krasnoyarsk on a tour. On the stage of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, the guests will perform Giacomo Puccini's opera Turandot (June 21) and Sergei Prokofiev's ballet Romeo and Juliet (June 23 and 24).

The 45th season will be closed with the world premiere of the ballet Dante's Catharsis based on the music of contemporary composers; its artistic director is Nikita Dmitrievsky. Performances will take place on June 30 and July 1.
