People’s Artist of Russia, principal singer of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Vladimir Efimov received the anniversary badge of honour “200 Years of the Yenissei Governorate”.
The Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Region Alexander Uss presented prestigious awards dedicated to the anniversary of the Region to its residents for labour achievements in their fields of activities.
Vladimir Efimov has been serving in the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre for almost 45 years. He graduated from the Mussorgsky Ural State Conservatory. For several years, he had worked at the Sverdlovsk Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. He was invited to Moscow to participate in government concerts at the Kremlin Palace, the Bolshoi Theatre, and the Concert Hall Russia. Since 1979, Vladimir has been a soloist of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre where he performed several dozen leading and solo baritone parts. He has performed more than three hundred solo concerts throughout the country. He has toured in Switzerland, Greece, Yugoslavia, Sweden, Germany, India, USA, Mexico honourably representing the Krasnoyarsk Region and Russia in various international projects.
Besides, Vladimir Efimov has longstanding teaching experience. For many years, he’s been the head of the Faculty of Solo Singing and Opera Training at the Krasnoyarsk Academy of Music and Theatre; since 2008, he has been a professor. He is also a member of the Vocal Art Council of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The contribution of Vladimir Efimov to the culture of the Krasnoyarsk Region and Russia cannot be overstated.
We must add that the anniversary badges of honour “200 Years of the Yenissei Governorate” were also given to the chairman of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Court Nikolai Fuga, the head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Krasnoyarsk Region Igor Lisin, the mufti of the Krasnoyarsk Region Gayaz Fatkullin, Chief Conductor of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, Honoured Artist of Russia Anatoly Chepurnoy, and other famous citizens of Krasnoyarsk.
