Achievements of the director of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Vyacheslav Tsyupa are recognized at the state level: he was awarded the honorary title "Honoured Worker of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Region”.
The Minister of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Region Arkady Zinov handed the sign and certificate to Vyacheslav Olegovich at the Regional Government headquarters.
Vyacheslav Olegovich has been working in the field of culture since childhood. Being a child, he was in the films; he rose to all-Union fame thanks to the role of Kay in the fairy tale film The Snow Queen. Vyacheslav Tsyupa received his professional education at the Gnessin Moscow State Musical College and then at GITIS (The Russian Institute of Theatre Arts), the Faculty of Musical Theatre. He used to work in the musical theatres of Rostov, Belarus, and the Urals.
For more than 20 years, Vyacheslav Olegovich has been working in Krasnoyarsk. Since 2016 he has been the Chief Director of the Children's Opera Studio of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.
Vyacheslav Tsyupa staged over forty performances on the Krasnoyarsk Opera House’s stage. Among them, there are masterpieces of the world opera classics and contemporary works, such as Tosca by Puccini, Otello by Verdi, La Fille du Régiment by Donizetti, The Tsar's Bride by Rimsky-Korsakov, Jeanne d'Arc au Bûcher by Honegger, La Bohème by Puccini, Carmen by Bizet, Don Giovanni and Der Schauspieldirektor by Mozart, La Traviata by Verdi (2007), The Golden Princess, and others.
