This is the history about the flaring and tragic love of the artist Kavaradossi and the singer Toska.

Winter in the middle of the summer
The Krasnoyarsk state opera and ballet theatre presents the author's ballet "Snow Maiden" on Pyotr Tchaikovsky's music. Author of the libretto and producing choreographer of the performance honored artist of Russia Mark Peretokin. Premier displays will take place on June 1, 2 and 3.

Competition named after P. Slovtsov is complete!
The III International competition of young opera singers and directors named after P. I. Slovtsov came to the end. It passed with assistance of the ministry of culture of the Krasnoyarsk territory, regional public Fund of Irina Arkhipova, the Union of theatre workers of Russia, city administration of Krasnoyarsk and the Moscow musical theatre "Helicon opera", under the patronage of the governor of the Krasnoyarsk territory.

The second selection round of the III International competition of young opera singers and directors named after P. I. Slovtsov came to the end. 42 vocalists took part in it. On the judgement of jury young singers submitted arias from operas and romances.

Star of the Czech opera on the Krasnoyarsk scene
On the scene of the Krasnoyarsk state opera and ballet theatre will act one of the best opera singers of the Czech Republic, the soloist of the Prague state opera Philip Bandzhak. On May 23 he will take part in the Gala concert devoted to the closing of the III International competition of young opera singers and directors named after Pyotr Slovtsov.

Started the first competitive day
Today in Krasnoyarsk opera and ballet theatre started the second round of the III International competition of young singers and directors of P. I. Slovtsov. Listenings of vocalists will take place two days: On May 19 – romances, works of classical opera repertoire and modern composers of the XX-XXI century will execute girls, and on May 20 the jury will be addressed by men.

From May 17 to May 23 in the Krasnoyarsk opera and ballet theatre will pass the III International competition of young opera singers and directors named after P. I. Slovtsov.
