Our theatre won another grant for Peter Pan opera productio
The Hvorostovsky Opera House is awarded a grant from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation to create a world premiere - the first production of the children's opera Peter Pan.

Ksenia Khovanova received the Onegin Award
On November 16, an awarding ceremony of the Third National Opera Prize Onegin took place at the Mikhailovsky Theatre in St.Petersburg. The opera company soloist of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Ksenia Khovanova received the award in the Debut nomination for performing the part of Leonora in the Giuseppe Verdi’s opera Il Trovatore staged by Maria Tikhonova.

The theatre will host a charity concert dedicated to Dmitri Hvorostovsky
On November 22, the day when the outstanding baritone Dmitri Khvorostovsky passed away, a concert of his memory will take place at the Krasnoyarsk Opera House.

Grand Prix of Siberia stays in Krasnoyarsk
The winners of the 5th International Competition Grand Prix of Siberia are announced. The Grand Prix was won by the principal dancer of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre George Bolsunovsky.

The Theatre says goodbye to Boris Godunov
The opera Boris Godunov by Mussorgsky will be performed in the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre for the last time on November 30 and December 1. The costumes and scenery of the opera performance have been graciously leased to the Krasnoyarsk Opera House by the Bolshoi. After the last performance, they’ll be brought back to Moscow.

Daria Ryabinko performed in the world premiere of the opera Söyembikä
The soloist of the Krasnoyarsk Opera Daria Ryabinko took part in the world premiere of Rezeda Akhiyarova's opera Söyembikä. It took place at the end of September on the stage of the Tatar Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Mussa Jalil. Krasnoyarsk singer sang the part of Tsarin Anastasia, the first wife of Ivan the Terrible.

Eugeny Sevastianov became a winner of the International Vocal Competition
On September 25, the jury of the I2nd Feodor Chaliapin International Singing Competition announced the winners. The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre’s soloist Eugeny Sevastianov won the Second Prize.

Between September 27-29, leading soloists of the Krasnoyarsk Opera’s ballet company Yuri Kudryavtsev and Yekaterina Bulgutova will take part in three gala concerts to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Marius Petipa in the birthplace of the great choreographer.
