From June 17 till June 20, the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will host the tour performances of the Perm Academic Theatre-Theatre. This company is a many-time laureate of the most prestigious theatrical awards, among them is the Golden Mask.

The opera soloist Kira Tikhonova will perform in Vienna
The opera soloist Kira Tikhonova (Misheneva) will take part in an opera concert in Vienna. An invitation to sing in the Austrian capital in the autumn is an award for participating in the qualifying round of the Hans Gabor International Competition of Young Opera Singers “BELVEDERE”, which was held in Irkutsk as a part of the VIII International Festival of Opera Music “Breath of Baikal”.

“Russia Cast Adrift” will be performed in Krasnoyarsk for the only time
The only concert in Krasnoyarsk “Russia Cast Adrift” will be held in the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre on June 14. For the first time, 12 verses by Sergei Yesenin set to music by Georgy Sviridov will be sung by one of the best opera singers of our time, Vladimir Baykov, accompanied by the Krasnoyarsk Philharmonic Russian Orchestra named after Anatoly Bardin.

Yekaterina Bulgutova wins the Soul of Dance Award!
Leading ballet soloist of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Yekaterina Bulgutova won the Soul of Dance 2017 award of the magazine "Ballet" in the nomination "Star".

The theatre received a President’s grant!
The Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Dmitri Hvorostovsky received a grant from the President of the Russian Federation again. It’ll be channelled for creating two exhibitions “The history of the performances of the opera “Prince Igor” by Borodin”.

Krasnoyarsk artists visited Italy
The opera soloist Alexander Mikhalev and artistic director of opera festivals and guest opera projects of our theatre, People's Artist of Russia Irina Dolzhenko performed in Florence (Italy). They took part in a chamber concert of opera music dedicated to Dmitri Hvorostovsky.

Here the stars are being lit!
On May 16 and 17, the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre named after D.A.Hvorostovsky will host the graduation concerts of the Krasnoyarsk Choreographic College “Here the Stars are Being Lit!”. Director and Art Director of the college, Honoured Artist of Russia, People's Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan Arkady Zinov staged the performances.
