From May 16 to 23, 2017, the Krasnoyarsk state opera and ballet theatre will host the IV International Competition of young opera singers named after Pyotr Slovtsov. It will be held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, the Ministry of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk territory, international cultural centers in the Russian Federation, the Fund of Lyubov Kazarnovskaya, the Krasnoyarsk city administration, under the patronage of the governor of the Krasnoyarsk territory.

On the eve of the Great Victory Day on May 6-7, on the stage of the Krasnoyarsk opera and ballet theatre, the performance of the Moscow provincial theatre "Merry Soldier" based on the story of Victor Astafyev.
April 28 at the Krasnoyarsk opera and ballet theatre there is gala concert "Russian Souvenir".
