The book entitled “Dmitri Hvorostovsky. Voice and Soul” is published in the Moscow publishing house Veche. Its author is a journalist and writer Svetlana Shishkova-Shipunova.

The Dmitri Hvorostovsky Festival to take place in Krasnoyarsk for the first time
Between October 16 and 26, the Dmitri Hvorostovsky Festival will be held in Krasnoyarsk. Composer Kirill Shirokov presented the opera Marevo (The Haze) to the theatre’s team
In the 42nd season, the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre is going to introduce several premières of operas by contemporary Russian composers. They are The Haze by Kirill Shirokov, A Feast in Time of Plague by Alexander Manotskov, and Night at the Museum by Pyotr Pospelov. The creators of these extraordinary cultural events will give the opera’s presentations to let the audience encounter with the performances.

The Krasnoyarsk Opera House opens its 42nd season in September
On September 13, the opera Yermak by Alexander Tchaikovsky will open the season 42 of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre. The opera was performed for three times at the end of the previous season; all the performances enjoyed success.
