The Krasnoyarsk part of the lineup of the Birgitta Festival in Estonia is confirmed
In August 2020, artists of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre are going to bring two productions to Tallinn for the international Birgitta festival - Eugene Onegin by Tchaikovsky and Aida by Verdi.

Ivan Velikanov to conduct a ballet and an opera at the Krasnoyarsk Opera House
As a part of the Young Conductors project, Ivan Velikanov will visit Krasnoyarsk in February 2020 - the conductor of the Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theatre, the leader of the Tarusa Chamber Orchestra (the band performs ancient music using authentic old instruments).

In February, the opera project Bel Canto in Siberia starts in Krasnoyarsk
The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre invites its audience to the Italian music festival Bel Canto in Siberia. It’ll take place in Krasnoyarsk between 14 February and 18 March. The guest stars of opera art will come to our theatre’s stage; Italian conductors will take to the conductor’s stand.

Alexei Khodorchenkov to be assistant conductor during the performance of Verdi’s Requiem
Honoured Artist of Russia Alexei Khodorchenkov will perform as assistant conductor for the period of rehearsing Giuseppe Verdi’s Requiem dedicated to the victims of the siege of Leningrad. On the day of performing Requiem, one of the most famous conductors of our time, People's Artist of Russia Pavel Kogan will take to the conductor's stand at the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.
