The tour is over - the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre is back from Moscow. Our artists took part in the 2nd Russian Festival of Musical Theatres "To See Music", which was held at different Moscow theatres. We performed the 39th season opening performance - the opera “Prisoner of the Caucasus” by César Cui.
The 2nd Russian competition of ballet dancers and choreographers started in the Natalya Sats Musical Theatre in Moscow. The soloists of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Nadezhda Panfilova, Anastasia Belonogova and Daniil Kostyilev are going to take part in the creative contest. They’ll contend for winning the nomination “A character dance in a music theatre”.
The opera soloist of our theatre Eugeny Sevastianov will sing in Germany. On November 19, he will take part in performing Stabat Mater by Antonín Dvořák in St. Gebhard Church in Konstanz. His partners on stage will be artists from different European theatres. The cantata will be accompanied by the South Western Philharmonic Orchestra.
The Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre continues a series of concerts dedicated to the 40th season. On November 29, we invite all music lovers to the Orchestra Night Special.
The children opera studio of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre celebrates its 25th anniversary. It’s a unique collective, the only full-fledged children's music theatre in Russia, a successful social theatrical project.
The Astrakhan Opera and Ballet Theatre tours in Krasnoyarsk in December 2017. On December 13 and 14, the theatre will present its one of the best works, the nominee of the Russian National Theatre Award “Golden Mask” - the dramatic legend of Hector Berlioz “The Damnation of Faust”. On December 16, “Opera Promenade” - a concert of opera soloists, chorus and symphony orchestra - will be held.
The day before, the Expert Council of the Golden Mask 2018 Award announced the list of the most notable performances of the 2016-2017 season. It included the work of our theatre - the premiere of the previous season of César Cui's "The Prisoner of the Caucasus” opera.
The opera “The Prisoner of the Caucasus” by César Cui performed by the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre is called the best event of the year! That’s the decision of the contest jury of the II National Opera Award “Onegin”. The awarding ceremony was held in the Alexandrinsky Theatre in St.Petersburg.
The leading soloist of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Daria Ryabinko is touring the Netherlands as a member of the troupe of the Tatar Academic State Theatre named after Mussa Jalil.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution of 1917. This is one of the major events of the XX century, which had a huge impact on the development of Russia and the world. 1917 became a frontier, forever dividing the history of the country into two epochs - before and after. On November 7, a grand concert dedicated to this date will be performed at the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.
