In October, the artists of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will present audiences with a series of exciting debuts — in ballet, opera, children’s productions, and concert programmes.
Honoured Artist of Russia and Tatarstan Aida Garifullina, one of today’s brightest Russian opera stars, will make her debut on the stage of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre on 30 October as part of the Hvorostovsky Arts Festival.
In 2025, the world celebrates the centenary of People’s Artist of the USSR Irina Arkhipova — a legendary singer and actress, teacher, mentor of young talents, and tireless promoter of opera. The upcoming concert in Krasnoyarsk will feature a programme inspired by her iconic repertoire.
Tenor Nikita Gusmanov, soloist of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, will take part in the performance of Alina Nebykova’s contemporary opera Zhdana. The Krasnoyarsk premiere of this horror opera, as the composer defines the genre, will take place in the Small Concert Hall of the Krasnoyarsk Philharmonic on October 12.
On 4 October, the new Sirius Concert Hall in Sochi was officially opened. Just a month later, artists from the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will perform on its grand stage, showcasing their artistry to audiences in the newly inaugurated venue.
Baritone singer Sevastian Martyniuk, a soloist with the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, has won Second Prize at the 13th Bibigul Tulegenova International Vocal Competition.

Before the curtain rises on 20 and 21 September, the foyer of the second floor will host a unique workshop, Tatiana’s Letter, where guests will learn the art of cursive writing with a pointed pen. It's the first event of its kind at the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.
