The festival Theatrical Spring 2025 has been concluded and its winners have been announced. Among them are the artists and production teammates of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre.
In early March, the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will receive the visit of invited singers who’ll take part in the premiere performances of the revived version of Giuseppe Verdi's Il Trovatore. The stellar cast includes soprano Valentina Pravdina (the Helikon Opera), mezzo-soprano Ksenia Dudnikova (Bolshoi Theatre of Russia), and baritone Emil Sakavov (Abai Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theatre, Almaty).
On March 20, during the Main Collegium of the Ministry of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Region, four members of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre were officially presented with distinguished regional honours.
The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre invites audiences to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory with a series of special performances and concerts dedicated to this momentous occasion. In early May 2025, four major events will take place.
On April 9 and 10, the renowned Chinese conductor Li Haozhan will take the conductor’s stand for the grand gala concerts that will conclude the international festival Stars Parade at the Opera. Slovtsov.

The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will welcome a special guest from Buryatia. The Buryat Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, named after People's Artist of the USSR Gombozhap Tsydynzhapov, will bring two spectacular productions to the Krasnoyarsk stage: Land of Faith – Bargudzhin Tukum on June 10 and 11, and The Beautiful Angara on June 12 and 13. On March 23, the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will present Jules Massenet’s Manon within the Krasnoyarsk regional festival Theatrical Spring 2025. The opera will be conducted by Felix Korobov, the music director of the production and Principal Conductor of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Music Theatre, People’s Artist of Russia.
The interactive production based on the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice is making a comeback. The thrilling quest to rescue Orpheus’s beloved, which was cancelled last year due to the events at Moscow’s Crocus Hall, will take place on March 22 as part of Theatre Night 2025.
