Opera star Dmitri Korchak to perform two roles in Krasnoyarsk
Among the guest artists at the 15th international festival Star Parade at the Opera. Slovtsov is a tenor singer and conductor Dmitri Korchak. He will showcase both sides of his artistry in two productions on the stage of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre: singing Lensky in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin and taking the stand as conductor for Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia.

The ballet production Anuta to serve as Ivan Karnaukhov’s Special
In the 48th season, Ivan Karnaukhov — principal dancer and ballet coach at the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, and Honoured Artist of the Krasnoyarsk Region — marks 25 years on stage. He will celebrate the milestone where it belongs: on February 20, he will dance the role of Pyotr Leontyevich in Valery Gavrilin’s ballet Anuta.

Giacomo Puccini’s opera Tosca will be presented on the stage of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre as part of the 15th International Festival Stars Parade at the Opera. Slovtsov. Two shows will feature guest artists: on February 18, Anna Nechaeva of the Bolshoi Theatre will sing the title role, and on February 19, Eugeny Shagarov of the Abai Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theatre will appear in the cast.

Educational creative talks to precede the premiere shows of Rigoletto
The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will present the premiere performances of Giuseppe Verdi’s opera Rigoletto on February 6, 7, and 8. Before each performance, the theatre foyer will host creative talks bringing together members of the production team, performers, and critics with the audience.

Casts announced for the premiere shows of Giuseppe Verdi’s Rigoletto
The production of Rigoletto has entered its final stage. The premiere performances will take place on February 6, 7, and 8, and the casts for these dates have now been announced. Alongside soloists of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, the performances will feature guest artists: soprano Yekaterina Begunovich (Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, Russia), tenor Damir Saduakhasov (Abai Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theatre, Kazakhstan), and David Cecconi (Italy).

Stars of Korean and Moscow opera to take part in the Parade of Tenors
The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will open the 15th International Festival Stars Parade at the Opera. Slovtsov with one of its most anticipated and by now traditional events — the Parade of Tenors. Joining the soloists of the Krasnoyarsk Opera on stage will be South Korean tenor Son Ji-Hoon and leading Russian singers Ivan Gyngazov and Kirill Matveev.

Lecture by opera critic Konstantin Cherkasov to precede the Parade of Tenors
The concert Parade of Tenors will take place on 31 January, and will mark the opening of the 15th International Festival Stars Parade at the Opera. Slovtsov. Thirty minutes before the performance, at 5:30 pm, a lecture titled A Point of Reference: Pyotr Slovtsov will take place in the second-floor foyer.
