In February the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre invites all the classical music lovers to a premiere! On February 3 and 4, our theatre introduces the new version of the Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s “Eugene Onegin” opera. The performance opens the IX international festival “Stars Parade in the Opera”, dedicated to Dmitri Hvorostovsky.
February 3 - March 28, the IX international festival “Stars Parade in the Opera” takes place in the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre. It’s dedicated to Russian opera classics and one of the most outstanding baritone singers in the modern times - Dmitri Hvorostovsky.
The Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre leading soloist, Honoured Artist of Russia Vera Baranova won a nomination in the regional competition of the best creative specialists. The singer was nominated for the personal contribution into preserving and developing the Krasnoyarsk Region’s culture. Congratulations!
Today, on December 20, the opera “Prince Igor” by Alexander Borodin on our stage - a landmark performance for the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre! This opera opened the first season of the Krasnoyarsk Opera 39 years ago, it was the very first performance in the history of our theatre.
The Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre’s soloist Ekaterina Bulgutova is awarded with the prize“Soul of Dance” founded by the “Ballet” magazine. Ekaterina is the best dancer in the nomination “The Star”.
On December 21st, the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre soloists Ksenia Khovanova, Alexander Murashov, Alexei Bocharov and Alexander Mikhalev will take the stage of legendary “The Fifth Studio” of the “Kultura” TV Channel. Our artists’ performance is a part of the concert series “Irina Dolzhenko invites!” arranged by the Bolshoi Theatre’s singer, People’s Artist of Russia Irina Dolzhenko.

On December 7, “Il Trovatore” is performed in our theatre again for those who wasn’t able to see the first performances. The show begins at 7 p.m.
“Unknown Siberia Under Paris Skies” - this programme will be introduced in France by our theatre from the 27th till the 30th of November. It is dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the first visit of the Russian Emperor Peter the Great to Paris and the establishing of permanent diplomatic relations between Russia and France.
The Krasnoyarsk dancers proved again that they are one of the best in the Russian ballet! The ballet soloists Nadezhda Panfilova and Daniil Kostyilev took the second and third places in a high-profile competition - the 2nd Russian contest of ballet dancers and choreographers. The soloists danced the dance of Ethiopians slaves duo“Ballabile” of the opera “Aida” by Verdi.
