Today the world of culture celebrates the 180th anniversary of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky - the genius who presented real music gems to humanity. The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre performs more works of Tchaikovsky than of any other composer. The theatre’s repertoire includes eight works to Pyotr Ilyich’s music.
On April 18, People's Artist of the USSR Vladimir Vasiliev celebrates his 80th anniversary. Vladimir Viktorovich Vasiliev is a true legend of world ballet, dancer, choreographer, actor, production director, ballet teacher. Vladimir Viktorovich has been effectively cooperating with the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre form many years.
Dear spectators, difficult epidemiological situation in the Krasnoyarsk Region does unfortunately not change, and its inhabitants still have to follow the self-isolation regime declared by the Governor Alexander Uss. All the events of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre are suspended until May 10.
Dear spectators, on April 2, Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the Russians: he noted that the peak of the epidemic is only approaching, and he announced that the non-working period is prolonged until the end of the month. Also, the self-isolation regime declared by Governor Alexander Uss is maintained in the Krasnoyarsk Region until further notice.
Dear spectators, Earlier, the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre suspended its performances and concerts between March 17 and 31. Unfortunately, we are forced to prolong the quarantine until April 12.

The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre’s production team (director Anastasia Kasatkina and costume and stage designer Ksenia Sorokina) is going to present Giuseppe Verdi's opera Un Ballo in Maschera as a dramatic and exciting “story of a murder”.
On March 13, the Italian conductor of Russian ancestry Alexei Nikonov is going to conduct at the premiere performance of Un Ballo in Maschera opera by Verdi. This performance is a part of the Italian music festival Bel Canto in Siberia taking place at the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre in February and March.
The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre invites art amateurs to visit the annual popular event - the Theatre Night. It’ll take place on March 14. This year it’s dedicated to the Art at the Quadrat project and its name is On the Other Side of the Quadrat.
