On February 1, artists and staff of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will visit the exhibition The Voice that Conquered the World at the Grigory Yudin Estate Museum. The visit is dedicated to a historically significant date: since February 1, 2018, the Theatre proudly bears the name of Dmitri Hvorostovsky. The future star of the world opera art, People's Artist of Russia Dmitri Hvorostovsky started his artistic journey on the Krasnoyarsk stage.
On January 27, the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will present the performance oа Giuseppe Verdi's Requiem dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the lifting of the siege of Leningrad. The idol of the Krasnoyarsk opera fans, Honoured Artist of the Republic of Buryatia Mikhail Pirogov will sing the tenor part.
On January 27, 2024, the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra will perform Shostakovich’s Seventh Symphony at the Moscow Conservatory. The conductor’s stand will be taken by the conductor of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Mikhail Leontiev.
Within the festival Stars Parade at the Opera. Slovtsov, the concert of Modest Mussorgsky’s chamber music Pictures at an Exhibition. Reload will be held. The soloists of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre Natalia Petrozhitskaya and Dmitri Zuev will take part in it. The arrangement for orchestra is made by Dmitri Yurovsky and Andrey Lukyanets.
The next concert of the educational cycle Orchestra Formula is to take place on January 27. The new string quartet of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will perform at it for the first time.
The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will present an uncommon rendition of Requiem by Giuseppe Verdi on January 27. The performance is timed to a memorable date: the 80th anniversary of the lifting of the siege of Leningrad that is celebrated on January 27, 2024.
A two-day tour of the Moscow Gubernsky Theatre (Artistic Director is Sergei Bezrukov) will take place at the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre. On April 27 and 28, Krasnoyarsk residents will see the play The Jolly Soldier based on the eponymous story by Viktor Astafiev. The tickets are already on sale.
Artistic Director of the ballet company of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, People's Artist of Russia Anna Zharova will meet with students of the Krasnoyarsk Choreography College. Members of the regional dance groups and students of sports classes close to the aesthetics of ballet (figure skating, rhythmic gymnastics) will also take part in the conversation.

The festival Stars Parade at the Opera. Slovtsov starts on 20 January with a gala concert dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and the 220th anniversary of Mikhail Glinka. The programme includes the performances of arias, duets, ensembles, instrumental fragments from operas of two great Russian composers.
