Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre joins the Siberian Longevity programme
The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre has joined the regional Siberian Longevity programme with its concert tour Opera Stories. Within it, residents of Krasnoyarsk aged 60 and older will be able to take part in two behind-the-scenes tours on August 30 at 11.30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

World opera stars to pay tribute to Dmitri Hvorostovsky in his hometown
From October 16 to November 5, 2025, the Krasnoyarsk Arts Festival Hvorostovsky will honour the legendary opera singer Dmitri Aleksandrovich Hvorostovsky. The festival, established in Krasnoyarsk with the support of the world-renowned baritone’s family, has become a cultural landmark for the region.

Experts from the Golden Mask award to attend To Love in Wartime
Before the official opening of the 48th season, the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will introduce a special pre-season show on August 23 — the world premiere of Alexander Tchaikovsky’s opera To Love in Wartime. The production will be assessed by members of the expert council of Russia’s prestigious National Theatre Award, the Golden Mask.

Krasnoyarsk to host the chamber orchestra music festival Asia–Siberia–Europe
From 3 to 15 September 2025, Krasnoyarsk will welcome the 23rd International Festival of Chamber Orchestra Music Asia–Siberia–Europe. The opening and closing events of the festival will take place at the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Pre-performance talk with art historian Lyudmila Gavrilova before To Love in Wartime
Ahead of the performance of Alexander Tchaikovsky’s opera To Love in Wartime, the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will host a special pre-show talk as part of its Half an Hour Before the Third Bell project. The event will take place in the theatre foyer on 23 August at 5:30 p.m., led by Dr. Lyudmila Gavrilova, Doctor of Arts.

New ballet season to open with a grand Gala Show
The upcoming ballet season at the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will begin with a spectacular Ballet Gala concert, taking place on September 13 and 14. The programme will feature both classical and contemporary works performed by the theatre’s leading stars as well as rising talents. Tickets are already on sale.

Winners are announced at the Rachmaninoff Competition
Filippo Dessi, conductor of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, has been named among the winners of the 2nd International Rachmaninoff Competition in the Conducting category. Maestro Dessi was awarded Fifth Prize and received an official diploma from the prestigious competition.
